Tammy became Manager of Cliffdale in April 2017. Our Staffing and Values

At Cliffdale Care Home, staff apply a person-centred approach to all aspects of care. Through on-going communication with residents and their families and friends, and between team members, we adjust our service to meet the changing needs of individuals. We continue to learn and remain open to new ideas and approaches that may improve our service, and regularly seek the advice and guidance of other health and social care professionals. Staff take part in training according to their roles in the organisation and regulatory requirements, and are also encouraged to take part in specialised training provision that means we are well equipped to support the people in our care.

Under new ownership, the whole team at Cliffdale Care Home seek to adhere to the following values:

  • Respect – we respect the rights, needs and preferences of each resident and staff member;
  • Dignity and Privacy – we seek to protect the privacy and promote the dignity of each resident;
  • Choice and Independence – we provide opportunities for residents to make decisions, and promote and support independence;
  • Wellbeing – we support the physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual well-being of each resident.
