Background

Located in the beautiful Shropshire hills, Cliffdale is one of the oldest residential homes in Shropshire. A grade 2 listed building with a fascinating history, in 1945 the building was a private residence. Since then, Cliffdale has been transformed into a registered residential home, with the addition of two extensions. Cliffdale is now home to around twenty-five residents over the age of 65, who require assistance with everyday living and personal care, and offers a comfortable, home-from-home environment.

Residents

Cliffdale has seen many colourful characters over the years and they have each left their own mark on the home. Each resident brings stories and experiences which make Cliffdale special. To help make the move into a new environment as smooth and stress free as possible, we support residents to put together a personal ‘all about me’ booklet, so we can learn more about them and their lives. Once we know about hobbies and interests, likes and dislikes, favourite foods, as well as the name they like to be known by, we can help each resident settle in quickly at our care home and establish a routine according to his or her individual needs.

Care

At Cliffdale Care Home we provide registered care home services and facilities, specialising in care for the elderly and those with dementia.

Urgent message relating to Covid-19:
